The 2024 Wahoo 20 Trail from TREK is an exceptional kids' mountain bike, designed to ignite the adventurous spirit in your young rider. Its lightweight aluminium construction ensures easy handling and durability, perfect for the off-road trails. A 9-speed 1x microSHIFT drivetrain provides an ample range of gears for your young rider's ease during uphill trailing. In addition, hydraulic disc brakes are integrated into the design for advanced stopping power, similar to the adult versions of mountain bikes.
This kid-friendly bike features wide, knobby 2.4” tyres that provide exceptional traction for a safe and smooth ride while handling bumps confidently. The framework includes a durable carbon fork that not only cuts back on weight, but also absorbs the bumps along the trail for a more enjoyable ride.
What's more, the Wahoo 20 Trail also boasts dropper post compatibility with room for an internally-routed 31.6mm dropper post. This feature enables young riders to adjust their saddle position on the fly, making this bike ready for the rowdiest of descents. The kid-friendly trigger shifters are also a standout feature, helping young riders to easily select the right gear.
The bike’s hybrid-style geometry mimics adult bikes, making the transition smoother while fostering confidence in the rider. Its upright position guarantees comfort even on those days when they can’t get enough of their bike.
For an added touch of personalisation, TREK designs allow for pedal upgrades. Although it comes with a basic pair, you can choose to enhance your bike's control and grip with a new pedal set. We highly recommend flat pedals for versatility and overall improvement in your child's ride.
