Unleashing an epoch in the evolution of XC trail riding, the Specialized S-Works Epic 8 Frameset redefines the perception of speed, capability, and lightweight integration. With an unmatched blend of efficiency and dynamic handling, the Epic 8 upends the tradition to establish itself as an unparalleled mountain conquering machine.
Trail-Grade Performance: The Epic 8 is a born champion, boasting progressive geometry that tames the toughest terrains while optimizing climbing and acceleration performance. With the chassis exhibiting a staggering degree of lateral and torsional rigidity, expect precision handling on every ride.
Premium Shock Absorption: Marrying superior design with innovation, the Epic 8 absorbs twelvemo (12%) more bump and vibration forces than its predecessor. This mitigates rider fatigue, enabling sustained power for longer durations, leaving your challengers in dust.
Custom-Tuned Suspension: We developed custom valving for Epic 8’s shocks that syncs harmoniously with the chassis and new kinematic design. The result is a ride experience that is truly greater than the sum of its parts - smooth, responsive and intuitively tuned to your riding dynamics.
Unrivaled Efficiency: Infused with biomechanically optimised suspension kinematics, the Epic 8 minimises inefficient pedal bobbing by 20%. This feature enables a more efficient pedalling position, translating into superior power transfer and climbing capability.
Lightweight Versatility: While packing in formidable features, we’ve crafted the Epic 8 to be lighter by 76 grams compared to its forerunner. The integrated SWAT 4.0 system ensures that all your trail essentials are conveniently within reach. It also boasts an integrated steering stop to prevent to top tube from scarring during unanticipated tumbles.
In essence, the Specialized S-Works Epic 8 Frameset is more than just a bike; it's an adrenaline-infused companionship designed to bring out the best in you, every time you hit the trail. Experience the epic. Experience Specialized.
