The Epic World Cup features a SID Deluxe WCID shock technology devised by Specialized's Ride Dynamics team. It ingeniously combines the efficiency and snappy response of a hardtail with the control, capability, and momentum-carrying of full suspension. With 75mm of rear travel, this frameset delivers the control and capability of a bike with much longer travel. Its custom Mega Jounce Bumper additionally offers seamless management on the biggest impacts. In the fork, however, the BRAIN stays alive, allowing riders to sag into the fork 15mm for a balanced ride without the need for remote lockouts or levers.
