Designed perfectly for young riders, the ACID 200's heat-treated 6061 aluminium frame utilises a curved and formed down tube to balance weight and sturdiness. Knowing that young adventurers might face a few accidents along the way, the derailleur hanger is easily replaceable to ensure a crash doesn't write off the frame. Just like an adult mountain bike, there are V-brake bosses located at the front and rear, catering to every possible braking requirement.
Taking the essence of the ACID 200 and trimming it down to its core, the ACID 200 SL provides an even lighter, more animated ride that kids will adore. The light-weight alloy fork pairs seamlessly with the heat-treated 6061 aluminium frame for a perfect blend of low weight, optimum strength and safe handling.
We've managed to shave weight wherever possible, making it an even more dynamic ride than its competitors. The easy-shifting 7-speed Shimano transmission includes a 34-tooth bailout gear, providing a little backup on those tough, long climbs. Plus, simple, strong V-brakes ensure supreme stopping power and super-easy maintenance and adjustment.
